His compendium of original anecdotes inspired readers with compelling insights on Christian spirituality. He had stints as a TV scriptwriter and editorial writer for a Philippine broadsheet.
Returning to corporate work, he established a business writing and marketing communications career. He has written and developed content for companies based in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines for over fifteen years.
Almonte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from De La Salle University - Manila and a Master of Development Communication from the University of the Philippines.
